Brede Å Lystfiskerforening råder over fiskeretten på ca. 40 km af Brede Å-systemet. Brede å har en god opgang af både laks og havørred - samt en bækørredbestand i fremgang og dertil enkelte stalling. Man kan således dyrke et meget alsidigt fiskeri i denne å.
