Havnø is the narrowest place in the fjord and here the waterway comes close to shore. The port of the harbor is a favorite place when the garfish makes its entry in early May. The tidal current is at times very strong and the bottom is sandy and covered with eelgrass. In addition to garfish in the season, there are good opportunities throughout the year to lure a trout at Havnø.
