On the stretch between Rands Fjord and the canal lock at Høllsminde fishing is free. Here you can catch many of the fish species found in Rands Fjord - such as perch, pike, roach and bream, and in the season from June to November you can also be lucky to get a seatrout on the hook.

Do not fish on this stretch of Spang Å from November 16 to January 15. Fishing is not allowed closer than 50 m from the sluice.
