Storå is one of Denmark's best salmon and seatrout rivers and every year some of the largest salmon is caught in Denmark. are caught here. The river is generally divided into 2 zones; east, where you can fish for brook trout and grayling, as well as west where fishing is focused on salmon and seatrout.
The river is relatively narrow, and with a slow current - but has a super nice rise of salmon. Especially the spinning fisherman can fish the river effectively, but of course many beautiful salmon are caught on the fly here every year.
The majority of the river is distributed between few associations and you must therefore remember to buy fishing licenses to the stretch you want to fish.
