The stretch between the Venstre beach and Uhrehoved, is called "under the bushes", and is not immediately suitable for fly fishing, as the fishing area is parallel to the road and therefore the backcast can get close to cyclists and pedestrians. If you fish on Ærø in the cold period, this place is often worth a visit. Keep an eye on the water temperature here as it can vary a lot in this spot. Under the bushes fishes optimally in March and April.
