Grindsted Engsø is 30HA and has an average depth of approx. 1 meter. It has served as a wastewater treatment plant for the former Grindstedworks.
To remove some of the mercury -loaded fish, a controlled fishing has been allowed. This means that roach and the bream as well as large pike must be destroyed, and that the other fish must be released.
You must have a valid national fishing license to fish here - you may also need a fishing permit from an association or a private owner. Buy your national fishing license via the link below.
