Hostrup Lake is located approx. 10 km south of Aabenraa and with its 202 ha is the largest natural lake in Southern Jutland. The lake is relatively shallow, with a average depth of approx. 2 meters and a maximum depth of 6.8 meters.
Large parts of the area at Hostrup Lake are military areas with access prohibited.

Exaggerated mountain forest is state -owned and has public access. Here you will find parking at Flensborgvej.
