Silkeborg Langsø is a 6 km long, shallow lake, which is in the heart of Silkeborg town. The lake is surrounded by buildings, with gardens down to the lake, as well as nature and forest areas. The lake is divided into three of the Kjærsgaardsbroen and the Viborg Bridge. The Gudenå runs the lake between Slotsholmene.
Good opportunities for angling and ample opportunity for parking around the lake. Every year, large pike are caught in the large, shallow lake. In addition to pike there are perch, zander, sea trout, eel and various coarse fish in the lake. So there are plenty of opportunities for many hours at the lake with the fishing rod in hand.
