Von Å

Vestkysten, Ringkøbing Fjord, River

Von Å is an approximately 6 km long current that drains Stadil Fjord. From the south end of Stadil Fjord, von Å runs to the south, where the west of Ringkøbing has expired in Ringkøbing Fjord. Von Å is 15-20 meters in width, however, in some places up to 50 meters wide. The depth varies and is in some places over 3 meters, while in other places it is about 1 meter.

The river offers good fishing for especially perch and pike. Fishing from land - i.a. At the 3 bridges that cross the river - but it will definitely be easier to find the fish from kayak, floating or dinghy.

Salmon and trout are totally preserved in the river and must immediately be released.
