Birksø is a shallow lake that connects Gudensø and Ry Møllesø with Julsø. The lake is located in central Jutland Lake Highland and right next to Ry. At Ry Marina, a boat can be put in from the pickup site, and this is where most people put boat when fishing in the surrounding lakes. Here is an excellent fishing for pike and perch, but the lake is primarily used as a transport path to other lakes. In the lake there are pike, perch, zander, sea trout, eel and various coarse fish.
