Along the 20 km river that extend from its outlet in Odense Fjord, at Stige Ø in, through Odense and out on the other side, you will find many different activities along the water. With a large path system it is easy to get along the river and there are several good fishing spots. More than 20 different species have been registered in the river. Several places are close to the city, so Street fishing is an opportunity where you can have the rod on the bike and fish different stretches on the river. For several years, work has been done for the trout population by Odense Municipality as well as seatrout Funen. They have done a great job of ensuring good conditions for the fish.
In most places you have to be a member of an association to fish in Odense Å, but there is a free stretch where you can buy daily licenses.
