Karup Å is a legendary, almost mythical seatrout river. For decades, it has had a reputation for housing Scandinavia's largest seatrout, and tourists from near and far visit the river for the same reason. Every year, seatrout are caught in almost unreal proportions.

The fishing right is spread out over several associations, so provide a fishing license before fishing starts.
